SEO / GEO Audit · Confidential
A full technical audit of www.plgroup.com covering Google indexation, Core Web Vitals, on-page structure, structured data, and visibility in generative engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI). Every finding below was verified live against Google, Bing and the site itself.
plgroup.com is fast at the server, secure, and visually strong, but its three highest-value service pages are missing from Google's index entirely, the mobile experience takes 14.7 seconds to show its main content, and the site sends none of the entity signals that search and AI engines need. The good news: most of this is configuration and markup, not a rebuild.
Lab run, Lighthouse 12.8.2. Note: Lighthouse's SEO score reads deceptively high because it only checks page-level basics. The issues that matter here (deindexed pages, no sitemap, duplicate staging domain, no schema) sit below its radar.

Verified live on 24 July 2026: /residence-citizenship-by-investment, /private-clients-services and /government-advisory return zero results in Google, even for exact service queries. Bing indexes them fine, so nothing blocks crawling; Google is quality-filtering them out ("crawled, currently not indexed") because of the structural issues below. The firm's most valuable page, citizenship by investment, is invisible on the world's biggest search engine.
FixResolve issues 2 to 9, then request indexing via Google Search Console. Expect re-inclusion within days.
/sitemap.xml returns a 404 page and /robots.txt is a blank file. Webflow can generate both automatically; the toggles are simply off. Google gets no discovery or priority signal for exactly the pages it is skipping.
FixEnable Webflow's auto-sitemap, add a robots.txt with a Sitemap line, submit in Search Console. 15 minutes of work.
pl-group-c49...webflow.io (titled "PL Group (13-05-2025)") appears on page 1 of Google for brand questions. It is a full duplicate of the site, competing against the real domain and looking unpolished in results.
FixTick "Disable Webflow subdomain indexing" in Webflow project settings, then file a removal request in Search Console.
plgroup.app (an earlier demo build, now offline) still has pages indexed and ranking for queries like "what does PL Group in Dubai do", while serving visitors a 404. Dead ends on page 1 of the brand SERP.
Fix301-redirect the whole domain to www.plgroup.com so equity transfers and the entries flush from the index quickly.
The hero text is the page's largest element and it is hidden by an entrance animation until long after load. Google's page experience signals punish this, and Core Web Vitals are a confirmed ranking factor. Contributing: reCAPTCHA (373KB) loads eagerly on every page, and 2.1MB of images load on the homepage.
FixLet above-the-fold text render immediately (animate position, not opacity from zero), lazy-load reCAPTCHA on form focus, lazy-load below-fold imagery.
Not one JSON-LD block exists: no Organization, no LocalBusiness for the 10 global offices, no Article on news posts, no FAQ, no breadcrumbs. This suppresses rich results and knowledge panel eligibility, and it is the single biggest untapped lever for AI-engine visibility.
FixShip a schema graph: Organization with all offices and sameAs links, Person entities for group leadership, Service per pillar, Article on every news post.
205 of 205 images on the homepage, 171 of 171 on About, 208 of 208 on Real Estate. Zero image search visibility, weaker page relevance signals, and an accessibility failure for a firm selling "Swiss-calibre excellence".
FixOne editorial pass in Webflow's asset manager: descriptive alt on meaningful images, decorative flag on the rest.
The homepage and About page contain zero H1 to H6 tags (everything is styled divs). The Real Estate and Citizenship pages have no H1 and jump straight into 12 to 20 H3s. Headings are the primary way Google and LLMs parse what a page is about.
FixIn Webflow, change the text elements' tags to H1/H2/H3. Class styling stays, visuals do not change at all.
No page declares a canonical URL (while a staging duplicate is live). The two unindexed money pages also have no meta description and no social share image; titles like "Real Estate" (11 characters) waste the most important on-page field. Two news articles' Google snippets currently read "Thank you! Your submission has been received! Oops! Something went wrong", the form widget's text. The contact page description ends "Dubai, Zurich, Singapore, Lagos and etc."
FixEnable canonicals globally, write a title/description matrix for all 17 URLs ("Primary Keyword | PL Group"), add og:image to every template, fix the copy.
GEO is about being the entity AI engines cite when someone asks about investment migration. Access is already open; identity and content are the gaps.
Google currently associates "PL Group" with an unrelated Dubai construction firm ("PL Group of companies", Al Qiyadah) whose top suggested searches include "fake or real", plus a Polish trading company. Without explicit entity disambiguation (schema graph, knowledge panel, Wikidata, consistent citations), search and AI engines can conflate the client with a namesake that people are actively questioning as a scam. For a firm built on trust and discretion, this is the most important GEO fix on the list.
Method: full crawl and source analysis of all primary templates; Lighthouse 12.8.2 lab runs (mobile emulation and desktop); live SERP verification on Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo on 24 July 2026; AI crawler access tested by user agent against the live edge; SSL, header and redirect inspection. Field (CrUX) data was not available at audit time.
